The Emperor Adrian considered it to be an elixir and today, the chemical analysis has confirmed its healthy properties, revealing a high level of antioxidants and oleic acid. Villaolivo Extra Olive Oil made from the Picual variety of olives is obtained directly from home-grown olives which have been cold-pressed, using mechanical processes.
