Hebe Poland

Hebe is a Polish health-and-beauty drugstore chain launched in 2011 as a retail project of the Jerónimo Martins Group, operated in Poland by Jeronimo Martins Drogerie i Farmacja. As a BUYER on Wabel's platform, Hebe sources and resells a wide assortment of cosmetics, perfumes, personal care and beauty products across categories including makeup, body care, hair styling, dermo-cosmetics, and both professional and natural/Korean beauty lines, combining exclusive and private-label ranges with well-known international brands.

The chain has grown into one of Poland's leading beauty/drugstore retailers, competing mainly with Rossmann. By the end of 2025, Hebe operated 394 stores in total, the large majority in Poland with a small number in Czechia and Slovakia following its 2024 international expansion. Store growth continues at a pace of roughly 30 net new openings per year in Poland.

Hebe reported sales of approximately 583 million euros in 2024, growing further to about 626 million euros in 2025 (up 7.4% year-on-year in euro terms), with EBITDA margin around 10.4% in 2025. E-commerce represents a significant and growing share of sales (around 20% of the total), supported by a mobile app and an omnichannel model including in-store online ordering, click-and-collect features, barcode scanning, wish lists and purchase history tracking.

Hebe's buying and distribution operations are supported by a large distribution centre near Pruszków (Warsaw area, c. 18,900 sqm), with a new distribution centre planned in southern Poland to support further network and international growth. The retailer serves supermarket/convenience-format drugstore locations across Poland, sourcing from beauty specialist and general retail distribution channels, and maintains loyalty programmes (My Hebe card, with several million members) and a partner programme to widen product access for shoppers.

As part of the Jerónimo Martins Group — a major pan-European retail and distribution group also operating the Biedronka discount chain in Poland — Hebe benefits from group-level sourcing scale while running its own dedicated buying operation focused on beauty, personal care and cosmetics categories for the Polish and neighbouring Central European markets.
