L’Oreal Belgium was founded in 1927 in Belgium and was the first subsidiary of the French beauty company, L’Oreal. It is headquartered in Brussels. L’Oreal Belgium and L’Oreal Libramont, a manufacturing facility owned by the group, are part of L’Oreal Belgilux.
Moreover, L’Oreal Belgium’s clients include supermarkets, departmental stores, pharmacies, medi-spas, hair salons, travel retailers and online stores.
206 million units have been produced by L’Oreal Belgium till date.

36 renowned and luxurious brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Diesel and many more have partnered with L’Oreal Belgium. These are imported from France, USA, UK and many others.
Furthermore, L’Oreal Belgium owns private labels such as:
- L’Oréal Paris: offers makeup, skincare, hair care products.
- L’Oréal Professionnel Paris: offers professional hair care products and tools.
All of L’Oreal Belgium’s products are cruelty-free since it started its operations.
L’Oreal Belgium manages a factory in Libramont where hair dye and hair care products are manufactured for the whole of Europe. The manufacturing unit is a ‘dry’ factory which means that it reuses its waste water.
In addition, L’Oreal Belgium introduced biomethane to its facility in 2009, making it the first carbon neutral plant of the group.
