In 2000, Marionnaud, a French beauty retail chain ventured on the international market by acquiring a Swiss company, Alrodo. The firm is owned by AS Watson and now has set up 82 stores in Switzerland. The company also runs an online store. It is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.

Marionnaud Switzerland employed 720 people and achieved a turnover of €113.1 million in 2017.

Marionnaud Switzerland offers an extensive range of products in the personal care category ranging from face care, makeup, fragrances, skincare, etc.

The business offers products from various brands like Viktor & Rolf, Ioma, Jeffree star, Lion, etc. Marionnaud Switzerland is also the exclusive reseller of several brands including Filorga, Rodial, and Helena Rubinstein.

The company provides products under Marionnaud’s own label, Marionnaud, which features skincare, makeup, and face care products in travel size format, etc. 

In 2019. Marionnaud Switzerland has stopped offering products which contain microplastics which is known for affecting marine life. 

Marionnaud Switzerland is also sponsoring Operation Smile, an NGO working for children and young adults that suffer from cleft lip and palate.
