Established in 1992, Maxima is a proud Lithuanian retail chain headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania.

It comprises 252 stores across the country. 

MAXIMA stores are divided into different formats: MAXIMA X, MAXIMA XX and MAXIMA XXX.    

The business has a dedicated team of 13, 650 employees and its turnover for the financial year was €1.7 billion. 

It offers a variety of products under different categories such as: 

• Sweet grocery: chocolate, biscuits, waffles, etc. 
• Savory grocery: rice, sandwich, pasta, etc.
• Fresh and chilled: Fruits, chicken, vegetables, etc.
• Frozen: smoked sausage, meat, ready made pizzas, etc.
• Dairy: cheese, milk, yogurt, etc.
• Drinks: juice, water, soft drinks, etc.
• Household: toilet paper, detergents, kitchen towels, etc.
• Personal care: dental care, shampoo, conditioner, etc.      
• Wine and spirits: beer, wine, vodka, etc.

The company offers private label products under different brands such as:

• EKOLOGICA(organic products): chia seeds, bread, pasta, etc.
• INKĖJIMAI IŠ KAIMO(Greetings from the farm): fruits, meat, vegetables, etc.
• ELITE RESERVE(Premium brand): chocolate, biscuits, cookies, etc.

In 2021, the company operated six warehouses in different parts of Lithuania’s capital. 

The company has also planned to start the construction of a logistics centre next to Lentvaris, near the Vilnius-Trakai road, by 2022.
