Oda Norway
Netfresh is the sourcing, import and private label company of Oda.com, Norway's leading pure-play online grocery retailer. Netfresh was established to bring Oda closer to the source: buying fruit and vegetables directly from growers, importing branded and private label goods from producers across Europe, and developing the group's own brand portfolio. By removing wholesale intermediaries and consolidating volume across Oda in Norway and Mathem in Sweden, Netfresh secures better quality, lower landed cost and full traceability from producer to doorstep.
The company operates across three business areas: direct sourcing of fresh produce, import of grocery and consumable goods, and private label development. Netfresh combines commercial category expertise with deep technical competence in international logistics, customs and tariff optimization, and landed cost modeling. Products are received, quality controlled and distributed through the group's fulfillment infrastructure in Oslo and Stockholm, and Netfresh also serves external wholesale customers beyond the Oda group.
Netfresh is a key part of Oda's ambition to build the world's most efficient and sustainable retail system. The parent group serves approximately 150,000 customers monthly across Norway and Sweden following the 2024 merger with Mathem, and achieves roughly 50% lower food waste emissions than traditional grocery retail. For Netfresh this translates into concrete sourcing principles: shorter supply chains, fewer intermediaries, higher product freshness and less waste through direct producer relationships.
Backed by leading investors Summa Equity and Verdane, the Oda group had a 2024 turnover of €476 million and approximately 2,394 employees. Within this structure, Netfresh is the group's commercial spearhead for vertical integration, positioned to grow direct sourcing volume, expand the European supplier network and scale the private label offering across the Nordic market.
