RMB employs a workforce of 18 (all departments). Its central location in Brunnen, at the foot of the Mythen on the banks of Lake Lucerne, is excellent in logistic terms. RMB imports rice from all over the world, mostly using ecologically responsible forms of transport.
Processing is done by modern equipment that ensures gentle treatment of the product, and great importance is attached to flexibility. We invest continually in processing and do not use any fossil fuels at all.
Our strengths are the great expertise and wealth of experience of our key employees.
Processing staff work in two shifts and have the capacity to produce approx. 12,000 tonnes of rice. The filling department can pack about 9 tonnes of rice an hour in variously sized packages.
