For over 30 years, the “Société Impériale des Thés et Infusions” has been packaging teas and plants in handcrafted tea bags. It is a vision that led to the founding of the company: offering the greatest teas a luxurious packaging, capable of preserving their physical integrity and the delicate taste of their whole leaves.
The epic of SITI began with the resurrection of the "Muslin tea bag", a sophisticated tea bag made of sewn cotton that was once popular but unfortunately was gradually replaced by the paper teabag that was faster and easier to produce.
Conscientious experiments have permitted the company to rediscover and relearn the forgotten gestures of the workers of the olden days. While maintaining the traditional aspect of the product, extensive research has enabled the company to optimize its production processes and successfully meet the growing demand of its customers.
SITI constantly invests in training its human resources and modernizing its production. This way, it has gained a significant production capacity able to support the development of its customers.
Furthermore, SITI’s production process was designed to be flexible and modular. An additional production capacity can therefore rapidly be mobilized.
