The company was created in the late forties, and with many years of experience and development in olive production, and as a result of its growth, TEPESA was constituted as such in 1969.
We look at the olive industry from a global point of view, starting with the cultivation of olive groves on land that we own ourselves, then their curing, fermentation, classification and selection, and finally their transformation (pitting, filling, etc.), packaging and distribution.
Our level of sales places TEPESA among the ten leading companies at world level, and we are in fifth position with regard to the technological ability or positioning in the export market.
Our field of activity includes the curing and packaging both of olives and of other kinds of pickles (garlic, capers, pepper, etc.), as well as the packaging of vegetable oils and vinegars.
Since 2004 the quality of our work has been backed not only by the ISO 9001:2000 quality regulation, but also by the specific international regulations of the food sector INTERNATIONAL FOOD STANDARD (IFS) and BRITISH RETAIL CONSORTIUM (BRC), in both cases at the HIGHEST LEVEL.
For many years at TEPESA we have kept to our clear vocation for exporting (90% of our production), with our products being found in America, Europe and Australia.
