t all started in Pirkko Hämäläinen's home bakery on the nearly 200 year old Vuohela farm. And from the fact that Pirkko was diagnosed with celiac disease. The journey has taken us from the old cottage to a modern bakery, while not forgetting taste and a baker's touch. We still fold our Karelian rice pasties by hand and bake them and our bread in stone hearth ovens in accordance with tradition.
