Founded in September 2008 as a local Kuwaiti retailer, Trolley began by serving niche markets at private universities and shopping malls before rapidly expanding into a nationwide network, including prominent positions at gas stations, further urban locations, and major commercial hubs[1][7]. The brand is recognized for offering a true one-stop-shop experience, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing customers with a wide assortment of products tailored for fast, on-the-go purchases[1][4].

The stores focus on meeting the immediate needs of a dynamic urban population, emphasizing quality, variety, and value for money[1][3]. In addition to grab-and-go snacks and drinks, Trolley locations often feature coffee stations and ready-to-eat options, reinforcing the brand’s convenience-focused positioning[1][4].
Trolley’s core retail formats are convenience stores and small supermarkets, primarily located at gas stations, universities, malls, and high-traffic urban areas[1][7]. Guan Tong Industries Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Guan Tong Coffee Factory) was founded in the late 1940s by two young entrepreneurs shortly after their arrival from Hainan, China. In Malaysia, Hainanese are known for their coffee in the traditional form. Armed with skills handed down from their forefathers, they decided to pit their skills and experience together to start a traditional coffee-making business. A coffee roasting shop was set up with an initial workforce of 6. This small and humble business soon started trading and distributing its products to sundry shops and coffee shops within its locality.
Together with tea leaves, the manufacturing and distribution of coffee remained the company's core activity for the next 30 years. It was in the early 1980s, when the company began to diversify into the manufacturing of other beverages, most notably in fruit-flavored cordials and fruit juices. This eventually led to the formation of In’Joy Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd in 1993.
Company History – The Expansion . . .
As the company continued to grow, its operation underwent restructuring and as a result, In'Joy Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated as its trading and marketing arm. The parent company, Guan Tong Industries Sdn Bhd now focused solely on manufacturing and product development. New machines incorporating new manufacturing technologies were added to enhance and increase production efficiency and productivity as well as product quality.
Company History – The Company Today . . .
To achieve its mission of nationwide distribution, the company took a major step in appointing major trading houses as its business partners. And today, with these partnerships, the company has grown to become a leading food manufacturer specializing in cordials, concentrated juices and bottled fruit juices as well as its traditional business in coffee roasting and manufacturing of trendy instant coffees. Its products are now widely distributed throughout Malaysia.
Subsequent to the acceptance of its products by the locals, its management began to look beyond its shores. Knowing full well that its manufacturing processes were all carried out in a conducive environment with the strictest hygiene and cleanliness standards, its management was contented that their products were ready to venture abroad. They were aware that the first step to gain acceptance overseas was to attain the required certifications pertaining to food safety and process standardization . Hence, Guan Tong Industries attained its ISO 9001 certification in 2003. It is currently in the process of pursuing the ISO 22000 certification, which has the key elements of GMP and HACCP all built in it.
Whilst working towards the said certifications, Guan Tong Industries received an award for innovation for its BlackMo product during the Thaifex anuga in 2024.

For over three decades, Total Trust International has been dedicated to the art of making precision tools that professionals can rely on. From our factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, we craft beauty and grooming instruments that blend heritage, skill, and innovation.
What began as a family pursuit of quality craftsmanship had grown into a trusted manufacturing partner for leading European brands. Today, our mission continues through our own collection — FineEdge™ by Total Trust International — a line that carries our same promise of precision, balance, and lasting performance.
Our belief is simple: quality is the best business plan. It’s what guides our work, shapes our relationships, and defines every product that bears our name.
Our Expertise
Total Trust International designs and manufactures a complete range of beauty and grooming tools, including barber scissors, manicure and pedicure nippers, tweezers, and grooming kits — as well as stainless-steel kitchen accessories trusted by chefs and home creators.
Each product is developed through rigorous attention to detail, precision engineering, and hands-on craftsmanship. We combine modern production technology with decades of expertise to ensure comfort, durability, and flawless function in every tool.
Our Commitment
We are more than manufacturers — we are long-term partners to brands who value reliability and trust. Our relationships are built on transparency, consistent quality, and a shared respect for craftsmanship.
As we grow, we remain dedicated to sustainable production practices, fair working conditions, and ethical sourcing. For us, true success means creating value not only for our clients, but for our people and community.
