The HUZAR® company was established in 1997. From its very beginning, it has been processing high quality bee products. Once HUZAR started to influence new markets the expansion of its production base followed. Nonetheless, our company invariably invests into new technologies providing the highest quality of honey that eventually leaves our plant. Professionally equipped laboratory and highly trained staff guarantee the safety of each and every batch of our product. We have been cooperating with the renowned Instytut Pszczelnictwa (Beekeeping Institute) in Puławy and a number of well-known international laboratories including Intertek, QSI and Eurofins. All that allows us to acquire the necessary knowledge in the area of research and monitoring any threats to the quality of bee products. In 2001, HUZAR introduced the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System and two years later the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Furthermore, we have implemented the IFS (International Food Standard), as well as, the BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards. All quality standards are systematically submitted to audits and validated by the external auditors. Throughout the years, the brand of HUZAR and HUZAR Co. has been granted numerous awards and distinctions such as "Dobra Marka" Certificate and "Przejrzysta Firma" Certificate issued by Dun&Bradstreet Poland. Our company was also awarded with the certificate of dynamic development at the 5th edition of Gepardy Biznesu 2010. What is more, Krajowy Rejestr Długów (National Debt Register) has granted the HUZAR company the Reliability Certificate as a trading partner. On 19th of June 2012, our company was given the title of National Nominee in the contest of Agroliga 2011. It was conveyed by the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski and the Minister of Agriculture Marek Sawicki. However, the most precious award to us is the satisfaction of our customers to which we aspire every day.

Giovanni Martellozzo established the winery in 1899 in Veneto region, Italy. His son Mario, a very skilled winemaker, made it well known and appreciated on the Italian and foreign market. In 1992, Mario, soon after his retirement, leaves the entire management to his 29-year-old daughter, Piera. Ever since then, Piera has become the testimonial and reference point, on the national and international wine scenery and the company's name changes from “Vinicola Martellozzo” into "Piera Martellozzo 1899".
In 2001, the company expanded with a new branch in San Quirino, in the far north-eastern corner of Italy, in the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, between Venice, the capital of art and culture, and the spectacular Dolomites mountains. It is from then on, that Piera constantly focuses on creating new wines in order for them to be confronted with all the best wines in the world. The Friuli DOC area is a gravelly region with a unique terroir, characterized by an ample stony surface which increases the temperature range between day and night, this aspect promotes the cultivation of particularly aromatic grapes and perfumed and elegant wines.
