P&T Chocolate and Presents BV was established in 2002 after the merger of Petra's Presents BV, based in Cadzand, and Torquis Chocolatiers BV. Before that, Torquis Chocolatiers operated as an independent, traditional chocolate shop in Maastricht, specialising in luxury, high-quality chocolate products. But chocolate, too, needs more than just a wrapper and a name. And that's exactly where Petra's Presents BV's specialist knowledge came in. For many years already, the company had been devising creative ideas for its customers for packaging and gifts. The merger of the two companies created a firm capable of rapidly responding to changes in the market and customer's wishes.

Drawing on rich family tradition since our beginning in 1992 we have been implementing the idea of constant, precisely planned development. Thanks to that we are now one the leaders on the Polish confectionery market. Within less than twenty years we have moved on the way from a small local business to a globally operating company. However, the most important driving force behind Delicpol’s development is invariably the idea of self-improvement, which is most fully reflected in our major investments in both state-of-the art technologies and our personnel.
The Delicpol Group was established following the strategy of creating a strong brand addressing the continually growing market needs. We gathered the Polish food market leaders in production of sponge cakes with jelly covered with chocolate.
Additional capital brought to Delicpol taken over by the Resource Partners investment fund in 2012 made it possible to acquire Cuprod Sp. z o.o. /limited liability company/ with its registered office in Kluczbork in 2013 and to take over Chojecki with its registered office in Kamion near Skierniewice in 2015. It was another step aimed at consolidation of the confectionery sector in order to build one of the leading European producers of the confectionery products.
Together, we produce cookies, dry biscuits, cocktail biscuits and gingerbread. Besides its own brands, the Group is a significant contract supplier for the leading commercial networks in Poland and Europe. The goods are also exported to the markets in Asia and North America.
The companies of the Delicpol Group employ nearly 1000 FTEs, have their own warehouse centre and forwarding fleet. DELICPOL is one of the first domestic producers from the food industry that implemented and certified the Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO norms and implemented international Food Safety Standard in compliance with the BRC System.

Back in 1982 the Visini brothers, owners of a fruit farm in the heart of the Italian Alps, had an abundant crop of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. They hit on the idea of extending their traditional activity of selling fresh fruit to making jams and preserves out of their genuine produce. A fundamental role in the development of this project was played by international experts who supplied the necessary know-how and then the innovative idea of using a high percentage of real fruit with a low sugar content. So the first range of Vis jams was launched: the “65% fruit range” featuring blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, apricot and strawberry preserves. Transforming fruit into jam required the building of a small factory, which was specially designed to be in harmony with the surrounding Alpine landscape.
