ExtenC

ExtenC, previously known as Geimex, is a retailer which was established in the year 1973 and is headquartered in Paris, France. The firm operates as a subsidiary of Casino Group, a French mass-retail group. 

ExtenC operates a chain of discount retail stores across the country. ExtenC has some activities in Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe and in the West Indies.

In the financial year 2020, the firm achieved 228 million euros in terms of turnover. ExtenC has an entrepreneurial team of more than 20 people working towards the ultimate goal of the business. 

It is noteworthy that the retailer collaborates with suppliers who meet AFNOR NF V01-003 Standard for its Chilled perishable products, hence maintaining the highest quality standards. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the business operates its own warehouse and has a fleet of vehicles to ensure deliveries. 

Casino Group signed an agreement with the Baud family for acquiring ExtenC which operates under the banner Leader Price internationally. Through this agreement, Casino Group is able to expand the Leader Price brand globally. ExtenC has the exclusive right of using the registered trademark Leader Price.  

Moreover, for Leader Price, ExtenC is currently looking for fresh products with optimised expiration dates. Leader Price is known for its high quality products at the lowest and unbeatable price. The firm is able to provide its customers low price products as it does not use aeroplanes for its supply chain solutions. 

ExtenC plans to switch its products to private label in the coming years.
