For the last 25 years, the AWC group of export companies [AWC Australia [Wines], AWC Thai Foods, AWC Seafoods, AWC Wholefoods] has been in the business of consolidating and exporting products, having forged strategic partnerships with a number of large-scale well-known international retail organisations [Walmart, METRO AG, Dairy Farm International etc.] plus a number of locally established retail store groups across Asia and Europe. Combining brands that may not, of their own volition, either due to lack of volume [economic quantity] or lack of export understanding, or simply, lack of resources, to market and promote themselves, has given our company a niche position to bring many brands to markets that would otherwise have little or no chance. The advantages of using an export consolidator also extends to the retailer, as well as the manufacturer, who, by virtue of gaining access to leading edge products on trend, in smaller quantities, doesn’t have to carry too much stock, with attendant risk, and can regularly make shipments to satisfy demand varying products and quantities according to need. The major disadvantage is that forward planning is required due to shipping lead times compared to instantaneous access to local distributors to top up quantities required, usually at a higher cost price, threatening net margin.
Our Group is currently looking to identify suitable strategic partners in various markets to build an introductory channel into their marketplace for the direct supply of exclusive gourmet retail dry foods from Thailand and Australian wines.
Our growth story commenced by chance in 2000 with the opportunity to work in a ‘strategic partnership’ [a phrase conferred upon us] with Dairy Farm Singapore’s Cold Storage Supermarkets, who, having already ascended to be the market leader in premium retail in their geography, had already come to the view that to maintain their market position in wines required a fresh alternative approach to sourcing. Working closely with category executives to build an understanding of their business models and desired result, our company’s skill base extends from the identification, to evaluation, and finally, implementation of plans developed and solidly based on the category data analysis. The Brasserie de la Croix SPRL is a brewery founded on 29 April 2014. The two managers Vincent Lacroix and Vincent Weytjens are brothers-in-law.
Vincent Weytjens’ wife and children also work in this family business.
We mainly brew specialist high-fermentation, bottle re-fermented beers (lager beer, dark ale, pale ale, white beer and fruit beer).
At our 400.000-litre capacity brewery, we brew our very own range of Sainte Nitouche beers, placing particular emphasis on.
We also produce bespoke beers for consortium and association clients and operate as a subcontractor. We work together with our clients to deliver the perfect solution.
Since 2019 we also produce a range of alcohol based on our distilled beers. In 2023 our first whiskey will be released.

Sibas Food, established in 1995, has been a leading supplier of capers, caper berries, jalapeños, pepperoncini, banana peppers and sun dried tomatoes.
Sibas is one of the 3 largest caper producers in the world. In addition to providing cost advantages, our annual volumes allows us to supply our customers with all calibers of capers without any issues.
Sibas is also the largest jalapeño manufacturer and exporter in Turkey, producing ~7,500 tons/yr of jalapeno while utilizing ~400 undergroun tanks. We pack both fresh jalapenos and fermented jalapenos based on customer preference. Moreover, we are the largest pepperoncini supplier in the world, producing ~7,000 tons/yr, which is roughy 1/4 of the world consumption. We also produce around 3,000 tons of banana peppers each year. We can pack peppers as a whole, sliced and diced.
