Wine vinegar over time was accompanied by the production of Balsamic that since 1939 were required from America by Italian immigrants coming from the Apennines Modena. The development of balsamic vinegar goes hand in hand with the expansion of the company in foreign markets. Today, as the beginning the production is supervised carefully, in full respect of the traditions, but with the benefits of the latest technology.
The company directly controls more than 90% of the raw materials needed for production, using tanks with a total capacity of 60 million liters for the storage of raw materials, and 20 million liters for the storage of finished products.
Currently are active in the various locations of the Group 15 bottling lines automatic and 3 lines for special products, distributed in two production sites in Afragola, near Naples - the historic headquarters - and Carpi, near Modena - home of 'Aceto Balsamico - where since 1997 is the seat of the Italian Modena Vinegar manufacturing.
The company is inserted in an agricultural area with about 3 km of internal roads, enriched with vineyards, farms typical of the low, and sites of aging inserted in "houses" vintage for over 40 thousand square meters. An intervention extremely respectful of the landscape, which has allowed the expansion of the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, without impacting on the ecosystem "farmer".
The plant in Carpi has a real record in addition to being the first to aging capacity in oak with about 10 million liters, has managed to build oak vats high as 7 meters to a unit capacity of 100,000 liters.
