Nocellara Etnea Olives trees grow along the Sicilia’s east coast. This area primarily includes the towns on the slopes of Mount Etna Volcano as well as Catania and Paternò. A true pillar of Greek olives. The Kalamata olive tree is very special. It is able to survive in the arid climate and in an extremly dry soil, moreover its life span is very long. Characterized  by a distinctive almond - shape and a deep purple color, Kalamata olives have a rich, slightly bitter taste.
