Our 2019 Fromenteau Chardonnay is exclusively from Tumbarumba, Australia, and is a standout wine in any sense of the word. With the accolades coming through  for this wine already we are confident this wine will be one to remember. Showcasing vibrant fruit characteristics with a rounded finish, the 2019 Fromenteau Chardonnay highlights the quality from the region. Tumbarumba and Chardonnay is synonymous with the tones of minerality, due to the impressive limestone foundation of this region (think Snowy Mountains). The elevation definitely assists in the growing process of this Chardonnay and gives us the security of little requirement for ‘meddling’ in the winemaking process.

This Reserve Fromenteau Chardonnay shines in its own right. Full flavoured and elegantly structured as we endeavour for this range of our wines.

TECHNICAL DETAIL

A number of parcels from across several regions were fermented separately in open and closed fermentation vessels.  The portions in closed fermenters were cold soaked before fermentation using the natural, indigenous yeast of each vineyard for fermentation.  On completion of the primary fermentation  the wines were then transferred to a combination of 2500 litre, 4500 litre casks (30%) and new (40%) and 1 year old (30%) 225 litre French oak barriques barrels for the secondary fermentation and maturation for 20 months.

We are using white wine infused with organic, plant-based botanicals, which bring this amazing violet colour and incredible aromas. It is a low alcohol wine, silky smooth mouthfeel and with special delicate tannins, which contributed by the botanicals, adding texture. 

The 2017 Falerne is made from the classic varieties of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied  with blackcurrant and blueberry aromas. A complex mocha and French oak flavor with integrated tannins and a long finish.

One component of juice was cold settled and another component ‘floated’ for juice clarification before fermentation.  60% Fermented in 500 litre barrels and kept on yeast lees until blending, with 40% fermented in stainless steel vessels and inoculated with a mix culture yeast.  The oak used included French and Hungarian oak, 50% new ,30% 1 year and 20% 2 year and older. Matured for 6 months before blending and bottling.

Clarified juice fermented using inoculated yeast cultures in temperature control stainless steel vessels. At 4 Baume , 70% of the volume was transferred to 500 litre French and Hungarian barrels to complete fermentation and aging on yeast lees until blending and bottling. The remaining 30% completed fermentation in stainless steel vessels. Malo-lactic fermentation was induced in 50% of the barrels and all the stainless steel portion of the wine.

Our Crémants are a selection of early harvested grapes in order to keep the vigorous and aromatic richness. They are vinified and raised in bottle for at least 12 months, respecting the traditional wine-making process. Fresh and elegant, this Crémant offers delicate bubbles.

The ending is long in mouth. This Crémant should be drunk like any other great sparkling wine, as a matchless aperitif, at the end of a fine menu and indeed throughout any festive meal.

Grapes are destemmed before an eight days maceration. Malolactic fermentation is done in one to ten years old oaked barrels, and in old wooden barrels. After a rest of ten months in those barrels, it is bottled after being lightly filtrated.

Dark and deep red color. Blackberry and vanilla notes at nose. In mouth, this Pinot Noir is well structured. Beautiful tannins with a bit of acidity.

The Grand Cru Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé is located on the mountainside, produces Rieslings of a great purity with a nice acidity. This Grand Cru Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé is facing South/SouthWest at 270-350 meter heights and limited to 11.40 ha.

Very mineral and intense nose with flavors of mandarin, mint and ripe grapes. Dry in mouth, there is a note of lemon on the ending.

Located in Rodern, the Grand Cru Gloeckelberg is south to south-east exposed. It lies on a granite substrate with sandy and acidic soils.

This Pinot Gris shows smoky aromas with dried fruits at nose. In mouth, it is soft and well structured : the beginning is round, and the finish shows some notes of acidity. With time, candied fruit notes will move progressively towards exotic fruits.

With its opulent side, this Pinot Gris is a perfect companion for skilletcooked Foie Gras. You can discover it with dishes composed of mushrooms, duck or roasted veal too.

MAISON MULLER DEISS

This Gewurztraminer comes from the Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim, which is located in Bergheim near Ribeauvillé. Thanks to its exposure, its distance from main mass of the Vosges, and the steep slope down to the small Bergenbach, this site has a warm microclimate. Red stony soils with chalk and marl giving some opulent and massive wines.

Strong and fruity (notes of lychee). Vigorous at the beginning, this Gewurztraminer is a gastronomic wine ! It shows a well-structured and long final tasting.

This Gewurztraminer is a charmer with Foie Gras, with Indian, Asian or Moroccan meal. It goes marvelously with exquisite desserts too.

Located in Rodern, the Grand Cru Gloeckelberg is south to south-east exposed. It lies on a granite substrate with sandy and acidic soils.

This Pinot Gris shows smoky aromas with dried fruits at nose. In mouth, it is soft and well structured : the beginning is round, and the finish shows some notes of acidity. With time, candied fruit notes will move progressively towards exotic fruits.

With its opulent side, this Pinot Gris is a perfect companion for skilletcooked Foie Gras. You can discover it with dishes composed of mushrooms, duck or roasted veal too.

This method meant maintaining ecosystem’s natural balance. Lower yields contribute also to richness and complexity of our wines.

Nose with quince and hazelnut aromas. Velvety and well structured, its overmatured yellow fruits notes makes this Pinot Gris generous and very nice balanced in mouth.

This Crémant made from Chardonnay grape shows a great finesse, with lots of fine bubbles very light. Different aromas of flowers and white peach at nose. In mouth, this Crémant Chardonnay is ample with a long lingering.
