R&D CENTER
It is one of the 250 R&D centers approved by the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.
As of today, our R&D center continues its operations with six independent laboratories on area of 800 sqm: Cell Culture Laboratory, Plant Research Center, Cosmetic Products Development Laboratory Instrumental Analysis Laboratories, Packaging R&D Laboratory and Product Performance Laboratory. Top-notch instruments such as HPLC-MS-MS, GC-MS, Real Time PCR for molecular biological research, BioSpec-nano and DNA-RNA protein imaging system are available among the analytical devices in the R&D center touted for its top-of-the-line infrastructure in terms of equipment and hardware.
Our 30-scientist-strong team includes experts who hold PhD degrees in botany, chemistry and pharmacy, as well as MA degree holders in chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology and pharmacy. Moreover, our consultant teachers from the leading universities of Turkey are in regular contact with R&D work groups.
Stability studies and licensing activities are carried out within the scope of R&D. Our Medical Directorate conducts tests on developed products and manages our relations with the other universities. Our center mainly obtains extracts, conducts analyses and develops cosmetics and food supplements.
TÜBITAK projects, university cooperation and new product developments are also carried out in this center The scientific articles published in international journals, the posters for congresses and the verbal presentations are also prepared by our center.

We are an enthusiastic R&D development team with a modern manufacturing facility in Or Akiva industrial zone, Israel. The company has been selling its functional beauty therapy products to estheticians since 1980 in more than 20 countries under our own brands: Anna Lotan, Anna Lotan Pro and Derma Lotana. The reputation has brought entrepreneurs (mostly pharmacists) to our doorstep asking us to manufacture for them certain products they thought could sell well in health insurance related pharmacies as well as in the independent pharmacy chain. Thus, SeboCalm (developed and manufactured by us,) became the leading derma-cosmetic brand in Israel.
Our mission is to create original (NOT “me too”) formulations that may act as safe & useful relief “toolkits” from common skin discomforts - without side effects. We are targeting consumers who develop loyalty to our product.
From a functional point of view our (herbal! NON medicated!) products target conditions such as: Atopic Dermatitis; Acne prone skin; Seborrheic Dermatitis; Rosacea; Undesired body odour; Feminine discomforts and more.
Recently, we have begun developing Medical Device formulations as a new regulatory category addressing both the professional as well as the retail market.
To give us more space to handle larger (international) orders, we have recently built an new building annex across the street (from our existing plant) giving us additional 6200 sq. m.. We have also increased our processing and filling capacity by adding larger volume homomixing reactors of 1000 & 3000litres and faster IWK tube filling and additional filling lines.
Our sales have been split 50:50 between local sales and export since more than 20 years, with a moderate continuous growth. By opening a new subsidiary in Boston to better expose our products in the USA, we plan to expand our export activity and offer contract manufacturing services on the basis of our proven, well accepted formulations.
