LGMC is the seafood affiliate of MUTANDIS, a consumer goods company listed in Casablanca / Morocco Stock Exchange.
LGMC operates 2 pelagic trawlers fishing (quota about 6,000 t). The catch is landed and processed in Dakhla mainly at our processing plant Rio Glace with a total daily processing capacity of 250 t and freezing of 60 t. The fresh fish is sorted and iced and sent by refer trucks to Safi and Agadir where it is later transformed to sardine and mackerel fillets in cans. The fish that is not suitable for cans is either frozen and exported for fish feed or sold as is to local fish meal producers.
