In the Special Edition Venison range, for example, we chose a path slightly divergent from traditions. We have created pork-free gourmet products with an outstanding meat content, in which we substituted extensively farmed buffalo tallow for bacon, prepared with traditional beech wood smoke and long maturation. The nice silky traits come from the tallow, while the characteristic flavours are due to the selected premium wild red deer meat. All this, seasoned with some white and pink pepper, provides a special gastronomic experience.
Our Venison Salami product range is based on traditional Hungarian recipes: the meat of healthy wild animals is prepared with pork pancetta, which allows the flavour of premium spices ground above liquid nitrogen to be released even better.
This salami is prepared with carefully selected ingredients, pink pepper, white pepper and garlic, with traditional beech wood smoke and long maturation.
The meat of wild deer practically contains no fat. This low fat content results from their active lifestyle and their natural diet consisting of the most appropriate nutrients. Wild deer meat is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, so it helps to lower blood cholesterol level.
We marinate the eye of round, the most valuable part of the hind leg of shot red deer, and place it in a souse seasoned with juniper berries, bay leaves, white pepper and salt for one week. Afterwards, the meat is smoked with selected beech wood that gives it a rich and complex but not aggressive taste. This is followed by 6-8 weeks of ageing, which results in a uniquely complex, exciting and extraordinary taste. Contrary to whole bone-in leg, the characteristic flavour comes from the lean meat instead of the bone. No such product of comparable quality is made in Hungary.
Since we process the meat of animals shot in the wild, we need to use a minimal amount of sodium nitrite (curing salt), exclusively for food safety reasons. We only add 1.075 mg sodium nitrite to 250 g product, a fraction of the acceptable daily intake of 4.2-4.9 mg.

This truffle it is known as Perigord Truffle because at the beggining of twentieth century France was the main producer in the world. Nowadays 90% of the production of this truffle mushoom it is produced in Spain in winter time. From November to April Spanish truffle it is sold around the world.
Once the winter season it is finished in Europe, from May to August we find from Southern Hemisphere Australian truffle and South American truffle.

The price of black truffle is very volatile. At the moment of maximum value, it can exceed € 600 per kg. In summary, the variation in the price of truffles has these phases:
The truffle from Australia or Chile it usually comes at a slightly higher price than the winter campaign in Spain. Likewise, the quality and aroma are equal or even better than our domestic production.

ManarThon offers its customers tuna in spring water range, characterized by low fat and calories content, destined to purists who just target the taste of premium quality tuna.
Our products are made with the finest Mediterranean sardines; Tasty, valuable and rich in Omega 3. It has also a subtle flavor, with a satisfying firm texture. ManarThon sardines are low in saturated fat and sodium, and it represents a good source of proteins, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin B6 and selenium. Sardines’ bones contain, in particular, a high level of calcium that protects and strengthens bone structure. We have to note also that our sardines’ edges are very thin and eatable and that our cans contains at least 5 pieces.
White Alba truffle origines and seasons
From October to December we have availability of Tuber Magnatum. This truffle is also known as Alba truffle, Piemonte truffle or Italian truffle. Even though Italy is not among the main productive countries they have a lot of companies who sell this truffle as Italian truffle. The main origines are Croacia, Kosovo, Rumania, Bulgaria, Turkey or some other east countries.
Quality and rations
We sell mainly first quality and in strong campaigns we also sell the small sizing and the second class truffle. This truffle is valued for its aroma and strong smell. It is without a doubt the most surprising truffle in the first contact with the customer. Having a great aroma and little flavor it is usually consumed in fresh grated with thin sheets on top of a hot plate. 10 grams per person would be a very good ration of truffle.
Price of Tuber Magnatum truffle
The price is very variable depending on the offer, it is a totally wild truffle and its cultivation at the moment is not viable. So it depends a lot on the climatology and production in each campaign. It can range from 1000 euros/kg to more than 5000 euros/kg. For a ration of 10g it would represent 25€ at an average price of 2500€/kg.
Autumn Truffle Season
It is sold from September to November. When the summer truffle ends and before the winter truffle begins we have the Tuber Uncinatum season.
Quality and Price Tuber Uncinatum
It is only sold First Quality. These last years since being a truffle of wild origin the quantities have been very low. The price of the autumn truffle ranges from 200 to 500€/kg. Its aroma is more intense than the summer truffle.
