Research with gluten free consumers yielded the strong insight that gluten free products are often inferior in taste and more expensive than standard offerings. The products were developed after extensive consumer research with gluten intolerant and gluten avoiders, which culminated in developing a range of gluten free pizzas that actually tastes like pizza should!
The authentic stone baked range is not only gluten free, wheat free & lactose and free from artificial colours & flavours. The pizza developed an innovative base recipe to provide the familiar pizza taste and flavour without gluten. Four varietes are available - Margherita, Speciale, Vegetale and a Meat Free Pepperoni.
The product has international accreditation from the Global Coeliac Society, which is prominent on the packs. The free from benefits have been a tremendous success not only attracting gluten free consumers, but bringing new consumers who are looking for healthier alternatives into the category.
Launched in 2015, the product is going from success to success globally with winning major awards including Product of the year Gluten Free UK & IRL – Jan 2016, DLG awards Germany as well as Papa awards UK.
