Sarchio was founded in 1982 with the aim of producing natural handmade products from the local tradition but without the use of any chemical additive, dye or preservative so to protect both human health and environment without sacrificing their excellent taste. Aware since the beginning of the importance of an environment friendly agriculture system to produce healthier and safer foods, Sarchio was able to release the first products by Agro-Biological productions and certified by CCPB (inspection and certification body for organic products) even before 1991, year in which the E.E.C. Regulation n° 2092/91 was published to supply the regulatory groundwork for the spread of organic agriculture. 1991 represented the turning point also for Sarchio that decided to dedicate itself purely to the production of Organic food. The great success of such decision led the company to inaugurate the new production plant in 2004 (another new production plant will follow in 2017) and to be certified by the Ministry of health as producer of Gluten Free products too in 2006. Sarchio was the very first company (and still is one of the few) to be able to range products that are both Organic & Gluten free. As in its early days, Sarchio keeps developing products that are pure and healthy, but with the addition of being directed also to people suffering for food intolerances. SEL Chemie BV was founded in 1947. Over the years we have developed a range of chemical products of which the most well-known is our colourless and coloured lamp oil. This is sold under the name The Old Dutch Farmlight®, with the lamp oil being just one of a complete range of products. We are an important player in the European market in this field.
Reliability from high standards
It is a source of pride to us that both the consumer and the professional show a definite preference for our products. This proves that their composition remains at a constant high level. We have also been developing and using safe PET packaging and a child-proof cap for more than 25 years already. Our well-known EasyFill® cap has recently been much improved and fitted with a tamper-evident ring to make it even safer.
We are constantly busy with innovations in products and processes, responsible entrepreneurship and safety. This means that you know that you will always be purchasing an extremely reliable and sustainable product. More proof of this is that since 1st January 2013 we have been running fully on sustainable current obtained from water power.
Whole process is under own management
We supply products both under our own makes of SEL and The Old Dutch Farmlight® and for various private labels, but we retain all parts of the production process under our own management - from the production of the preforms, blowing the PET bottles, the injection moulding and fitting the child-proof caps up to and including distribution to our customers all over Europe.
Since 2011 we have had a full ERP package used for processing the flow of orders, planning the production process based on the customer- and product-specific recipes, stock management and administration. The incoming and outgoing flows of goods are bar-coded by this ERP package. This allows us to trace the exact composition of every order sent out and to whom and when the goods were supplied. We attach internationally accepted SSCC labels to all deliveries. The package also allows us to connect seamlessly to retailers who work with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), a digitalized system for ordering, confirming orders, the administration of packer's labels and invoices.
Safety comes first
Many SEL Chemie products are flammable or are manufactured from flammable substances. It goes without saying that we take safety very seriously. The ISO 8317-2003 certified child-proof cap and the well-thought out packaging of our products are good examples of this, but we also do everything possible during the production process to ensure that we work in a responsible manner. We comply with the strict guidelines for processing and the transport of our products for example.

In 1931 Reinert was founded by brothers Hermann and Ewald Reinert in Versmold, Westphalia. Thats where the H. & E. Reinert Group has its origin. Today high quality salami, cooked and cured specialities are produced in Versmold. Furthermore the headquarters of the central administration as well as the central distribution are based there.
From 1998 to 2002, Reinert took over three regional raw ham production facilities. Since 1998, Schinken Einhaus GmbH & Co. KG in Friesoythe (Lower Saxony) has been part of the Group, and in the following year Reinert purchased Original Holsteiner Katenschinken GmbH & Co. KG in Brunsbek (Schleswig-Holstein).

Since many brand lines are available only as clearance stock, secondary brands provide the UK discount sector with core FMCG products. Asvina’s principle focus is to develop our own secondary and private label brands with competitive margins throughout the year.
