After undergoing processing, the potato retains all of its positive qualities. During the chip cooking process, pellets are moistened with water with the addition of sunflower lecithin as an anti-burn component. Sunflower lecithin is also one of the most versatile supplements necessary for maintaining health. As mentioned earlier, no oil is heated or cooked during the production process. Instead, baking surfaces are coated with a special material (which is the manufacturer's "know-how"), ensuring that the chips do not burn and create a pleasant taste of fried potatoes. Since there is no need to mask the taste that occurs when oils are heated, the chips are not enriched with a large amount of salt and spices. As a result, the final product has a much milder and more pleasant taste than those prepared using oil. The delicate taste is also enhanced by the small amount of unheated oil that is sprayed onto the chips so minimally that flavors - powders of vegetables and other products - are applied to the surface of the chips, ensuring their absorption. Since the chips are produced by spreading micropellets and not by frying potato slices, the final product easily decomposes, melts in the mouth, and does not cause damage to the oral mucosa. Due to the small amount of oil, when eating chips, the fingers remain less greasy.The product packaging design is also worth noting, appreciated by professionals and has won several awards.

Our journey began in 1994, and with unwavering dedication, we acquired our first wheat mill in 1996, marking the genesis of our commitment to quality milling. Over the years, milling has remained at the core of our operations, evolving and growing with each passing milestone.
By the year 2000, we transitioned into industrial production, pushing our boundaries and scaling our production capacity from a humble 1-2 tons to an impressive hundred tons every month. This expansion saw investments not only in our mill but also in office spaces, creating a solid foundation for our continued growth. As a result, we were able to process a remarkable 300 tons per month, setting the stage for our ascent in the industry.
In 2007, we embarked on a pioneering venture, introducing our first gluten-free pasta to the market. Motivated by a vision to provide healthy and high-quality pasta made entirely from corn at an affordable price, we focused on the overall health benefits of corn pasta, capturing the attention of health-conscious consumers.
The year 2008 witnessed another significant stride as we expanded the production capacity of our corn mill to an astounding 500 tons per day, solidifying our position as the largest corn mill in Eastern Europe at that time.
A momentous achievement came in 2010 when Sam Mills penetrated the American market, marking a historic milestone for Romanian pasta brands. We not only established a strong presence in the private label industry in the USA but also expanded our reach to the markets of the US, Australia, and Europe.
In 2018, driven by our commitment to excellence, we introduced new recipes for a novel type of pasta, demonstrating our continuous efforts to enhance the quality of our products. Our focus is not just on staying relevant but on being more competitive and profitable in our target market.

Company "Askaneli" was founded in 1998 by brothers Chkhaidze. The name “Askaneli” is associated with the small, magical village of Askana, located in the beautiful region of Guria, where the old cellar, built by their ancestor – Antimoz Chkhaidze still stands. Antimoz and his whole family was in love with vine and the divine fluid obtained from the grapes. Mayonnaise by OLIS Ltd. appeared on the shelves of Ukrainian stores in 1992. At that time, the Company’s product range consisted of only a few varieties of sauce. Thanks to customer confidence and steady growth in demand, we were able to set a course for active development of the Company, expand the range and increase production volumes.
In 2004, another production site was opened – an oil processing plant in Vasylivka (Zaporizhzhia Region). The assortment of OLIS Ltd. was enriched first with sunflower oil, and later with mustard, various types of sauces and ketchups. Today we are also actively developing the grocery business.
Despite the fact that the plant in Vasylivka is currently under occupation, we have not stopped our development. In 2023, having gathered together our own experience, favorite tastes of Ukrainians and recipes that have been tested over the years, we created a trademark – National Ukrainian Traditions.
