Our company was founded in 2004 with the goal, according to Indian tradition to develop, in cooperation with the Food Institute Jerky with Central European recipes and bring them to the German market. The testing and development phase was then completed by the end of 2008.
Since early 2009, the launch of the Conower Jerky's Step by Step began. The enormous success led to the fall of 2009, a change in the production process, so that the production capacity has expanded massively, and thus the supply of the German retail landscape could be ensured. Over the past few years, sales of Conower Jerky's developed very positively.

In 1955, Lucien PETIT, a pastry cook at la Trinité sur Mer, had the idea to produce biscuits rolled by hand, called “cigarettes”. Within 10 years, this production went from 80 kg to 600 kg per day. In 1972, to deal with the constant growing demand, Lucien’s son, Bernard PETIT, current managing director of la Trinitaine, then 25 years old, decided to build a factory of 2200m². This plant today covers 25000 m² and produces 60 tonnes of goods per day, ranging from wide choice of biscuits to madeleines, made with butter or vegetable oil. The rigorous selection of the raw materials, which must be totally natural, and of high quality, the follow up and the processing control, the strict respect of food safety, automated packaging, are ensured by men and women assisted by tools of production of high qualified technology. Each day, the PETIT family and their 90 employees work towards one objective: more quality to better satisfy the customer. This challenge was rewarded in 1986 by the award of the “Laurier d’or” (Golden Laurel) for quality and tradition. Alytus Dairy, the manufacturing unit of the Company RIVONA, produces yoghurts, sour cream, milk, kefir, butter, curds and cheese curds, - altogether around 60 sorts of various dairy products. In 2014, the Company made the investment of LTL 1 million (289 thousand EUR) for the renovation of the existing equipment and acquisition of the new one. In 2016, the turnover of the Alytus Dairy totaled up to LTL 14,36 million EUR exclusive of the Value Added Tax. The Dairy produced 18,2 thousand tons of products. In average, it employs about 68 people. In 2013, it launched a new ice-cream unit producing 25 different sorts of ice-cream. During 2016 year, the unit produced 6,8 million portions of ice-cream. Our company is located in Ermioni Argolidos, on the Eastern edge of Peloponnese. The local area, Kranidi, is famous for its excellent quality extra virgin olive oil. You will be interested to learn that the European Community, in 1996, named Kranidi a Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.).
The advantage of Kranidi’s olive oil is that it mainly comes from our local olive variety, named “manaki”. There are a lot of “manaki” trees older than 1000 years (the oldest 4000) still producing our gold liquid. “Manaki” olives produce a smooth tasting olive oil with an herbaceous aroma of the fresh olives and undertones of tropical fruits such as bananas. These characteristics distinguish our olive oil from most of the other Greek olive oils, as well as Italian and Spanish, which are spicy and bitter. Even though smooth taste is not a quality characteristic, it is a fact that most of the consumers prefer it over bitter and spicy taste.
