They spend the first stage of their life on the farm, feeding on natural cereals produced in our installations, up to a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access to the pastures. There they enjoy an exquisite diet composed by the mentioned selection of cereals, grasses, tubers, roots and acorns, reaching 90/100kg at the beginning of October, when it starts the “montanera”, the moment when the acorns fall and constitute their only feed up to an approximate weight of 180kg in their adulthood.
