It is only through respecting the terroir and the vine that we obtain the best possible wines. Biosens follows this “rule of respect”.
Biosens has been conceived to meet the expectations of today’s society, taking the most ethical approach possible. Health benefits, environmental protection and product quality are at the centre of our everyday preoccupations. The result is Biosens, a Bordeaux wine brand with a sustainability mindset.
Respect for the earth, respect for nature : our common sense…
It has several virtues: in addition to being an organic wine, Biosens is vinified without the addition of sulphites so, as nothing artificial intervenes in the winemaking, we are able to endow our wine with the purest expression of its terroir. Its packaging is entirely eco-designed with a lighter-weight bottle, an eco-sustainable capsule, a closure made from sugar cane and labels made of 100% recycled material.
Biosens comes from plots located on the charming slopes of the Entre-deux-Mers region, in the heart of the Bordeaux appellation. The vines grow in clay-limestone soils of great character and give us a succulent and expressive wine, "without artifice", that will pair perfectly with classic dishes or more creative cuisine.
Biosens, a deeply sustainable Bordeaux.
The Dão wine region is located in the heart of Portugal. Sometimes likened to Portugal’s Burgundy, not because of any physical similarity but both have a similar winestyle. Like red Burgundy, Dão doesn’t rely on power, but in stead aims at subtlety and finesse supported by natural acidity given from this terroir.

Part of a skillful range of wines obtained from white grapes. It’s a fresh and dynamic white sparkling wine, result of maniacal attention to detail throughout all the production phases. The Winemaking Process Throughout the various phases needed for the creation of this sparkling white wine, the product is always kept at a controlled temperature, to guarantee its quality. The wine obtained from the vinification techniques is put in an autoclave, where it ferments again, in the presence of selected yeasts, at 16 degrees Celsius. On completion of the fermentation process, it is refrigerated at -4 degrees Celsius and left in contact with the yeast. After the aging period, the wine is centrifuged and undergoes isobaric filtration in a second autoclave, before being bottled. The Wine The aromas are fruity and fresh. On the palate there is a pleasurable acidity, with a fine and persistent perlage, good structure and a clean taste. It perfectly suits shellfish and white fish, as well as seafood; it is also excellent as an aperitif.
A varied sparkling wine, obtained via natural fermentation using the Charmat method. Displays typical aromatic characteristics of the territory. The Stelvin closure, still rarely used in Italy, is an innovation that significantly improves the storage of the wine, guaranteeing its authenticity. The Winemaking Process The must is separated from the solid parts by means of soft, fractional pressing. The pressing step is crucial for preserving the balanced freshness of the product. After cold settling, the must starts its fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15-16 degrees Celsius. Second fermentation occurs in an autoclave for 10 days, at a pressure of up to 2.5 atm. The Wine The color is straw yellow, fruity on the nose with a delicate, slightly spicy aroma. There is a pleasant acidity on the palate, lively and fruity, and its body is dry and delicate. Excellent as an aperitif, it is suitable as a wine for the whole meal, especially with mixed fried fish or vegetables.
A sparkling white wine obtained from Glera grapes. It is an extremely versatile wine, suitable for any occasion. The Stelvin closure is the best method of maintaining the freshness and aromas of the wine.
Produced from carefully selected grapes, with predominantly early red grapes. Silky pink with a subtle, persistent perlage.
A sweet, white sparkling wine, obtained from aromatic grapes that provide the typical organoleptic notes of the Treviso hills.
This young and lively sparkling wine, has been reinterpreted according to the contemporary style of the Promosso Line, based on the traditions of the Treviso area. In fact, in the past, red grape vineyards were cultivated to obtain among others, sweet and sparkling wines used to celebrate important events.

J.J. Whitley London Dry Gin is the product of eight generations of distilling history. It’s a classic London Dry recipe, which uses a blend of eight botanicals, including orange peel, lemon peel, juniper, angelica seeds, coriander seed, liquorice, cassia bark and orris root
Wonderful smoothness with clear notes of juniper, perfectly complemented by hints of citrus, spice and parma violets
J.J. Whitley spent much of his childhood in old Georgian and Victorian vicarages, latterly in Daresbury - the birthplace of Lewis Carroll. These vicarages would have had expansive kitchen gardens and natural hedgerows in which the young J.J. would have played. As he grew older, the English countryside became the natural source of key ingredients for tantalising recipes like this Elderflower Gin, made with real elderflower extract
Candied sweetness, dominated by the unmistakeable punch of elderflower with flicks of grassiness, orange blossom and honey
As a child, J.J. Whitley spent much of his time in the English countryside with his family, searching the hedgerows for exciting new flavours to use in their locally-produced spirits. In early spring, long before the fruits of summer began to appear, nettles would already be growing in abundance. Once cooked to remove the ‘sting’ they produce a delicious, irrefutably ‘green’ flavour, which is what givesJ.J. Whitley Nettle Gin its distinctive, zingy taste.
Heavy herbaceous aromas open out into a fresh, light, zingy kick, bound together with a gentle sweetness. As the freshness of nettle disperses, the palate is left with an unmistakeable and somewhat nostalgic finish of a classic gin.
As a child, J.J. Whitley would have spent much of his time playing in the expansive gardens and natural hedgerows of his vicarage homes. As he grew older, the home-grown fruit and vegetables of the British garden became the staple of his kitchen table, preserving pots, and later, his gin and vodka recipes, like this Potato Vodka, made with 100% natural potatoes
An almost dairy-like creaminess, highlighted by subtle, yet distinctive notes of white grape and the lingering crunch of green apple.
The Whitley family were well-known for culitvating their gardens and searching the hedgerows for thrilling new flavours, indigenous to the countryside. As a child, J.J. Whitley would have spent much of his time in the gardens, playing and helping the family harvest ingredients like home-grown seasonal rhubarb, which would be used for cooking, baking, and distilling spirits, like this Rhubarb Vodka, made with natural rhubarb flavouring.
Sweet rhubarb dominates the nose and coats the palate with a balance of sweetness, with hints of fresh vegetables and basil.

Inspired by the Tropical Glasshouse at the Treborth Botanic Gardens, we wanted to create a gin which combined a traditional juniper-led profile with the sunshine citrus and warming background flavours found in orange marmalade.
A refined balance of sweet and bitter orange flavours, with the pine flavour of juniper; a citrus hit with warming aftertaste.
