We start with 2 row barley malt and we add pure water coming from the natural limestone filtration from 1,200 feet below the surface. Then we add our proprietary yeast strain to start the fermentation process. The blend is then left for almost a month in our 800-barrel horizontal stainless-steel tanks to convert sugar to alcohol. After this, we send the stream through a specialized filtration process at extremely high pressure that uses a cutting-edge Nano Filtration process followed by a unique Reverse Osmosis method.
The final result is a flavorless, clear spirit at 16% alcohol by volume. This stream is converted to Platinum Vodka by distilling it in small batches using a pot still vessel not much different than the finest single malt Scotches and Cognacs, followed with fractionation distillation in our tall distillation columns 10 times before it is hand packaged in our custom-made glass bottles. It is made exclusively from natural ingredients, and it doesn't contain any added sugar or glycerin.
Tasting Note: Clear color with platinum cast and a minute haze. Aromas of vanilla yogurt, floral prairie grass, and Brazil nuts with silky, dryish medium body and a creamy, marjoram, chalk, and spice accented finish.
Clear vodka Wataha was inspired by purity of nature and power of the pack. The call of nature makes wolves gather into packs in which they wander together and support each other. They are bonded by strong social ties, rituals and mutual concern. That's what characterizes Vodka Wataha - it's strong, natural and best for social meetings. Clear vodka Wataha has an exceptionally velvety and mild flavor. Alc. 40%.

Steeped? It’s true. Instead of overheating and pressurizing our gin to force infusion, we add a secret blend of the finest juniper, lemon peel, coriander, licorice and other botanicals directing to an ultra-clean neutral spirit. Polo Club American Dry Gin is then allowed to develop its character slowly and naturally, waiting for our master distiller to declare the flavor perfect.

The advantageous climate of vintage 2018 provided a welcome start to what would be a very successful harvest period. A sustained warm Spring meant our vines got off to the best start possible, which further encouraged the notion of a blessed Marlborough season. The start of Summer brought one of the warmest Decembers on record, while the key ripening months of January, February and March 2018 continued to provide above-average temperatures. With the unpredictability surrounding weather patterns towards the end of March, our team took the challenge to start harvest early. From day one we accumulated as much fruit as possible, resulting in one of the fastest intake periods on record. Quality viticulture, the ability to effectively manage our harvest teams and a big front door are some of the key reasons why we were able to create such vibrant wines – typical of the Waihopai Valley, Marlborough.
The fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness and pressed quickly to minimise tannin pick up and to retain the fresh, crisp flavour. The juice was racked clean and fermented cool with selected yeast strains which promote varietal intensity. The parcels were then thoughtfully assembled to create a well-rounded mouthfeel, tropical aromatics and lively back palate acidity.

A classic Waihopai Sauvignon Blanc delivering tropical notes of guava and gooseberry with underlying ripe citrus and boxhedge aromas. The texturally-layered palate builds from a stone fruit and blackcurrant foundation and ends with persistency stemming from vibrant Marlborough acidity.
Grapes for this wine were harvested later in the growing season to allow full ripening of the synonymous Pinot Gris flavours and acid profile. Whole bunches were pressed into mostly stainless-steel tanks with a minority being transferred into oak puncheons. Fermentation was carried out with cooler temperatures to retain the bright stonefruit aromas. Oak portions were stirred on a weekly basis to promote mouthfeel and roundness with the wine being assembled after 3-4 months on light lees.
Alcohol 14.5%

Vintage 2017 delivered a smaller than predicted crop for Marlborough’s wine industry, ensuring the vibrant, fruit-driven wines the region is so well known for, were achieved. Summer started early with warm weather leading to good flavour development, indicating the potential for great wine. Our vineyard staff and winemakers spent plenty of time in those early days of the season, working out how to get the best balance from our vines – and ultimately into our wines. Nature threw in some challenges along the way, with a major November earthquake, a cool and windy summer and stints of rain in Autumn. Rigorous vineyard management and careful harvest decisions have ensured our Marisco wines have an exciting spectrum of flavours from our harvested grapes. A growing year of challenges – resulting in wines to remember!
Leefield Station Pinot Noir was machine harvested, fully destemmed and gently crushed prior to pressing, while The Slopes Pinot Noir was harvested by hand and whole-bunch pressed. Cold settled for 2 – 3 days, both Rosé batches were racked clean to a mix of both tank and 500L French oak barrels (puncheons). Following a slow, cool fermentation with aromatic yeast strains and a short time of lees maturation, the tank and barrel portions were blended and returned to tank to allow the various componentry to integrate.
