The Côtes du Rhône terroir is made of cobbly terrains, rich in clay and limestone. The vines are steadily fed with water and receive at night the heat which was stored in the soils during the day. The low-gradient South-oriented slopes give good grape ripeness. After complete destemming, Syrah and Grenache varieties are vinified the traditional way with two-week maceration in a controlled-temperature environment. A small quantity of the Syrah variety is vinified through carbonic maceration in order to enhance the fruity potential. This is a deep, dark red wine with nice mauve reflections. The delicate nose successively releases blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and violets scents. After a fresh, pleasant attack on the palate, one's mouth is filled with roundness and texture. However, the tannins remain silky and provide a melted sensation which opens onto a fruity final persistence.
The standing of Château Lamour dates back to the 13th century. It was a Mecca for hunting under the Capetian rule, and King Louis IX of France. After the World War II, the famous resistant Philippe Lamour gave to the estate a second life. Located in the town of Bellegarde between Nîmes and Arles, Château Saint-Louis La Perdrix stretches over an unbroken 50-hectare vineyard and 7 hectares of olive trees. The sandstone cobbles in the soil provide for optimal grape ripening, which eventually allows us to produce some of the greatest Rhone Valley's wines.
Carignan grape bunches are picked manually using crates, and full grapes (without destemming) are placed into stainless steel tanks to make the wine. Syrah and Grenache varieties are harvested once optimally ripe, destemmed before being vinified in cylindrical stainless steel tanks in a temperature controlled environment. The wine is then blended and aged into traditional concrete tanks in a temperate cellar. Blend : 45% Grenache / 35% Syrah / 20% Carignan
This is a deep, red wine with purplish red cerise reflections. Its intense nose expresses soft fruit and spice aromas. A smooth, structured attack on the palate is followed with a delicate yet forceful melted-tannin sensation.
The Artix Castle is a Cathar castle built in the XIth century. The Artix tenanted farm, upon which lie the current unbroken 80-hectare vineyards, has existed since 1407. It is located just on the edge of "La Liviniere" terroir. The soils are composed of clay and limestone. Because of the cold climate there, the grapes are picked late compared to other Languedoc wine crops. The harvest is manual and environment friendly, so as to optimize grape concentration. These characteristics also provide the wine with ripe, melted dark berry aromas as well as fine, smart tannins. Château Portal's concentration is the fruit of a long, one-month maceration. This wine is dark-coloured with cerise shades. Its smell is a combination of complex, ripe or cooked fruit and liquorice. A well-balanced, silky feeling first embraces the palate, then giving way to a beautiful fruity experience, with fine and ripe tannins.
Blend : 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 25% Carignan Vieilles Vignes (old vines)
Domaine de la Chapelle peaks on a hill overcoming the high-valley of Hérault gorges. The nearby Larzac area offers a great place to ripe perfectly Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan. These varieties give you thus the best expression of our terroir. The Carignan vinification is traditionally done with carbonic maceration to offer a powerful red fruit expression. The Syrah and Grenache are vinified separately and placed into vats where temperatures are maintained between 25°C and 30°C during three weeks. The extraction is softly managed in order to respect the expression of the grapes and to reveal the fruits and smoothy tannins. The ageing in oak barrels enhances complexity and full body. The varieties offer an harmonious combination of ripe berry fruits and lovely spices with depth and elegance. On the palate it is silky and refreshing with menthol and spicy notes and balanced with good tannins.

Crystal Clear pale yellow with fresh shiny green. Intense nose with citrus, pink grapefruit, green herbs and lovely lychee. Juicy, tingling dry of taste and full of fruit. With impressions of citrus, buxus, passion fruit and ripe carambola.
Light, fresh and straight dry white wine.
Aromas of ripe plums and blackberries, with complex toasty oak and floral spicy aromas. A sweet fruit attack of blackberry and plums, with an even
tannin structure that is soft and supple

Pure red berry fruits fill the mouth overlayed with spice and white pepper flavours typical of a young Shiraz from South Eastern Australia. A medium bodied full flavoured style.
Young Australian wine with a lot of fruit on the palate.
Rich flavours of white peach, lemon citrus and rockmelon fill the palate, with the vanillin French oak character and time on yeast lees contributing to
the lovely savoury texture and finish. This wine has ageing potential but will be difficult to resist right now.
Rich white wine with exotic fruit and notes of french oak.
A very elegant, supple wine that shows remarkable harmony and integration. Long, rich, pure flavours of the Shiraz varietal fill the mouth with lovely
textural elements from its youthful, fine tannins and time spent maturing in barrel.
Elegant Shiraz from Australia, youthful with fine tannins.
This organic Tempranillo is quite fruity (raspberries, sour cherries) and tangy. It has little residual sugar and a slightly bitter and sour aftertaste, which I do not dislike. There is also some tannic astringency on the finish. In short, a fruity wine which is still a wine and not fruit juice in disguise.
Wine made from organic grapes.
A nice, ferm and strong, red, organic Spannish wine.

A full-bodied, dark red wine that displays an exuberant fruity and spicy aroma with hints of cherries when decanted. The flavour is full, elegant and fruity, with an impression of spices. The long after-taste is perfectly balanced and seductively fruity. But watch your tongue; this is a truly talkative wine!
