Sarchio was founded in 1982 with the aim of producing natural handmade products from the local tradition but without the use of any chemical additive, dye or preservative so to protect both human health and environment without sacrificing their excellent taste. Aware since the beginning of the importance of an environment friendly agriculture system to produce healthier and safer foods, Sarchio was able to release the first products by Agro-Biological productions and certified by CCPB (inspection and certification body for organic products) even before 1991, year in which the E.E.C. Regulation n° 2092/91 was published to supply the regulatory groundwork for the spread of organic agriculture. 1991 represented the turning point also for Sarchio that decided to dedicate itself purely to the production of Organic food. The great success of such decision led the company to inaugurate the new production plant in 2004 (another new production plant will follow in 2017) and to be certified by the Ministry of health as producer of Gluten Free products too in 2006. Sarchio was the very first company (and still is one of the few) to be able to range products that are both Organic & Gluten free. As in its early days, Sarchio keeps developing products that are pure and healthy, but with the addition of being directed also to people suffering for food intolerances. Sarchio’ s philosophy has then remined unchanged: to develop and produce products respectful of both the environment and the consumers’ health in their being pure, healthy, and suitable for people suffering of intolerances.

The Bridor industrial and family bakeries were founded by Louis le Duff, Founding President of the Le Duff Group (Brioche Dorée, Del Arte, Fournil de Pierre, La Madeleine, Ferme des Loges, Brueggers, Kamps). Like most industries, syrup factory has its origins in traditional craft. History teaches us that as early as the 17th century, many farmers from the Herve region had a copper boiler and a press which they used to make syrup, thus enhancing the value of the apples and pears from their orchards. That syrup was then sold at the same time as the other farm products. The first signs of the industrialisation of syrup-making started to appear around 1880-1890, when steam-cooking was first tried out and hydraulic presses began to appear. These two major innovations allowed for larger quantities of fruit to be made into syrup, and this is how the first syrup-making firms were born.

The Company was established in 1992 by mr Prodromos Pavlides in Giannitsa, about 50km west of Thessaloniki, situated in the heart of the peach orchards. P. PAVLIDES SA invested in this business with the ambition to create a modern well managed export oriented company specializing in canned fruits. In 2005 a new operation was established at the 50 acres plant, for the production of aseptic fruit puree. In 2007 more than 10 million eur were spent and the factory was completely renovated, all internal fabrication including floors and walls were replaced and with the installation of the most up to date processing equipment, raising capacity and meeting all modern standard of food industries. Since that time every year more than 1,5 million eur are spend for new machines that are improving the quality of the products and the efficiency of the lines. It is considered today one of the most modern and well equipped food processing factories in Europe producing quality safe consistent and reliable products.

The company “Belgian Butters” was established in 1986 by Mr Luc Destrooper and Mrs Christiane Olivier. To this day, it is still a family business. The second generation Mr Bert Destrooper takes care of its international growth! “Belgian Butters” invests annually in research and development. Our sales team constantly attracts new markets for growth with the intention to get as close to our customers as possible! We currently employ 80 permanent production employees. The production area was extended to a total surface area of 16000m2. In total, there are 12 ovens on the production lines and 8 lines in the chocolate section. Belgian Butters has developed its own production lines over the years and employs its own technicians. “Belgian Butters” produces 10.000 ton quality biscuits every year.
