Winemaker tasting notes:                  

Bright garnet color and aroma of ripe red fruits. In the tasting it is a balanced, fruity, tasty, elegant wine with a long and intense finish. A great wine for everyday pleasure and for any occasion.

Serving suggestions:

It’s the perfect “happy hour” red wine, a great everyday wine. It’s excellent with food or by itself. Excellent complement of white and red meat dishes, roasts, barbecue, pasta, pizzas, Mediterranean, Vegetarian, Mexican, India, Thai and Chinese gastronomies, cheese dishes. We recommend to serve at the temperature of 16-18ºC.

Vinification Method | Classic fermentation method, involving selective extractive enzymes, which are compatible with the active dry yeasts. During the whole fermentative process, pumping over 2 times per day, using each time half of the volume contained in the vat.

Ageing | Wine is aged in French of Allier oak barrels of 225 Lt for 2 months. Ageing in bottle a minimum 3 months after bottling.

Tasting Notes | With a well defined garnet colour, it has enticing aromas; along with a full body and many and different flavours, we find figs, cherries, and damascus; these are complemented by subtle vanilla from oak ageing.

How to Serve | A pleasure as an aperitif for special family or social events, or as accompany of red meat, game and strong cheeses. We recommend to serve at the temperature of 16-18ºC.

Winemaker tasting notes | Brilliant, with aroma to red fruits, dark ruby color. In the mouth it is fruity, soft, easy to drink and very tasty, with an elegant, intense and persistent finish.

Serving suggestions | Excellent if taken as an aperitif, at parties, but also perfect to accompany roasts, barbecues, Italian, Mexican, Indian, vegetarian gastronomies and dry cheeses. Serve at 15 - 18ºC.

Winemaker tasting notes: Bright ruby colour, and a fruity aroma with a touch of violets. In the tasting it’s smooth, showing a delicious ripe red fruits flavour with notes of spices. The end of the tasting is intense, persistent and very pleasant.

Serving suggestions: Excellent by itself or as complement of pasta, meat, vegetarian and cheese dishes. We recommend to serve at the temperature of 16-18ºC.

Ageing : Wine is aged in French of Allier new oak barrels of 225 Lt for 6 months.

Winemaker tasting notes: A wine of intense aromas and flavours. The palate is superbly balanced with youthful, rich fruit and fines tannins. Soft yet spicy cassis fruit has been seasoned with cedar notes from subtle oak ageing. The finish is elegant, long, tasty and extremely persistent.

Serving suggestions: Excellent by itself or with any full flavoured dishes especially with red meat and cheeses. We recommend to serve at the temperature of 16-18ºC.

Vinification method: Destemming contact with skin contact. Cooled to 15ºC, the must passes by a vacuum filter with perlites. The fermentation is achieved through active dry yeasts, the temperature being controlled between 16ºC and 18ºC.

Winemaker tasting notes: A fruited wine of real finesse with an intense aroma of ripe orchard fruits. The body is full with a delicious, creamy character and this is countered by a fresh, citrus quality on a long finish.

Serving suggestions: Excellent as aperitif, particularly recommended with fish, white meat, soups, salads and any light flavored dishes. We recommend to serve at the temperature of 8-10ºC.

The Grangestone Single Malt collection is available in Bourbon, Rum and Sherry Cask Finishes. 

“Solista” is our 100 % Grignolino, the most typical variety of Monferrato Casalese. It is a elegant and light body kind of red, with fruity but also spicy notes on the nose. In the mouth has a present but smooth tannin. Our Grignolino is a wine that you can really have fun pairing with, from aperitivo time to vegetarian or even fish cusine. 

A production of 5.000 bottles. Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG. Red wine with an intense grenade hue and a soft body thanks to the 12 to 15 months spent in oak 25HL barrels. Harvest 2021 is now ready and available. The light toasting enhances the flavor of the wine giving it hazel tones.

“Carisa” is our first production. Our first label. From 750 bottles we reached 6.600 bottles and since the 2017 harvest, it became DOC certified. Barbera del Monferrato DOC. Red wine is characterized by an intense red hue and a rich and full-bodied flavor. An intense approach, a dense body crossed by its typical sourness rebalanced by the right softness, current production is from the 2022 harvest.

Mariulin, a union of tradition, innovation, and respect for our land, the Monferrato. Piemonte DOC Chardonnay. Harvest: 2022. Made following the Martinotti (Charmat) method with longer fermentation and permanence on the yeast, which will preserve the wine's aromas and give finer bubbles

From the 2020 vintage, it rested for 27 months on the lees. The fine bubbles make it elegant, while its floral aromas make it a fresh wine. Production is limited, only 3.797 bottles are available.

After its great success, Dedalo is back with about 6.000. Monferrato Bianco DOC. 100% Arneis. Harvest: 2022. Dedalo is characterized by a rich bouquet scent, with floral and fruity touches. It's a fresh, pleasant to the palate wine. 

The refreshment that the large tree next to the Perona vineyard has been giving us for years and the Casots that emerge between the rows with their genuine and straightforward simplicity reflect this wine. The wild strawberry on the nose is cheerful and refreshing. It is ideal for a break from the heat and pleasure for the palate.

A wine that represents an important evolution. Step by step, starting from a controlled drying in the vineyard and a refinement that enhances the aromas of exotic fruit, the Passo is enveloping and direct, characterized by a note of saffron. 1,866 bottles.

"Linea Terroir" - Vigna San Pietro is a clear ruby red wine with 14% alcohol, from vigna San Pietro, Olivola. The limestone-rich soil dates back 30 million years. Spicy notes and juicy red fruit, pairs well with Rossini fillet, Fassona, or fish tartare.

"Monferrato Rosso" is an intense ruby red wine with 15% alcohol, from vigna San Pietro - Olivola/Cella Monte. TASTING NOTES Aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, spices, nutmeg and buttery notes from the wood. On the palate, a wine with a lot of volume, unctuous, good acidity and persistent, with a finish featuring smoky notes from barrel afing.

History Alfacinha is born to honour the popular traditions of Lisbon. Before being a wine, is a nickname that appears during the mid-nineteenth century, written in the prestigious book "Viagens Na Minha Terra" by Almeida Garrett. Herdade da Candeeira is a 180ha Estate of which 70ha are vineyards. Greek Distilled Dry Gin
