The Limito company was established in 2004 in Gdańsk. In the relatively short time the company became one of the leading suppliers of Norwegian salmon and other fishes and seafood in Poland.
In early March 2012, at the newly built factory of Limito in Grudziadz the first production was launched. This is one of the most modern plants in Europe. The providers of technology systems to the plant in Grudziadz were among others world leaders such as Marel Food Systems (fish processing lines from raw to finished product), Innova system (software for intelligent control of production) and Multivac (packaging machines).

Since our beginnings, and based on the Clean Label philosophy, with no additives or preservatives, we have been focused on producing bake-off bread. We are recognised both for its quality -leaders in the rustic sector -and our proximity to the customer.
With 100% natural ingredients and no additives or preservatives our bread is soft, crunchy, with a golden crust, spongy crumb and intense aroma. We also offer an entire family with ecological certification and the EFI family, breads with ingredients to solve particular nutritional requirements.
We are IFS (International Food Standard) approved, guaranteeing the supply of safe products in compliance with current international laws and specifications.

Our attractive product range consists of more than 250 different products. It includes a variety of frozen natural products, frozen ready meals as well as unique products including organic, eco-labeled and gluten/lactose-free products. These are available both in retail and foodservice private labels and packed into tailor-made boxes, flow-pack or vacuum-packages. We have a strong focus on sustainability (MSC-label) and clean label, offering almost all of our products without E-numbers, coloring or preserving agents or flavour enhancers. Freshly slaughtered quarters (pistolas) arrive daily by plane and are hurried to our plant to be cut up in our own facilities and packaged. Another of our specialties is smoked meat. Equinox smoked horsemeat meets the most stringent standards of quality and is widely renowned for its exquisite taste. Equinox also markets a variety of ready-made meals in metal and glass containers.
