Franprix Leader Price is a French chain of stores based on the proximity concept mainly found in Ile de France and it was incorporated in 1990. Since 1997, the firm is completely owned by the Casino Group which has a 11,6% market share. The year 2004 witnessed the opening of its first store in Lyon. Today, Franprix comprises 894 stores while Leader Price consists of 726 stores in France.

Bioalimenta was founded in 1998 in Fara San Martino (Abruzzo, Italy), on the eastern side of the Majella National Park, a place known worldwide as the capital of quality pasta. The company manufactures Gluten Free pasta and potato gnocchi in a dedicated plant, with selected raw materials, respecting the Italian tradition and the privileged environment of its location that provides pure air and natural spring water. With 5 production lines, Bioalimenta produces a unique assortment of more than 50 different pasta shapes and a great variety of potato gnocchi under its brand Farabella. Its catalogue also includes flours, cookies, cakes, snacks (sweet and savoury), crackers and much more, exclusively gluten free, that are exported to over 20 countries.

Square Orange Foods Ltd was set up in May 2008 by two friends, and work colleagues. Chris Tarling & Mark Porteous. They met in 2001 when Mark was appointed Financial Controller of Rathbones Bakeries in Stockton and Chris was his immediate line manager as Rathbones Bakeries Group Accountant, In November 2004 Chris was appointed General Manager of Boaters Coffee Company Ltd, after their acquisition by Julian Graves and his love affair with Coffee (and tea) began. Immediately tasked by his new employers to create a range of products to rival that of Whittard of Chelsea. He had to learn quickly about the world of flavoured coffee, master the art of tea, whilst developing new ranges of teas, coffees and Hot Chocolates that met the needs of a vibrant young brand.
