In the lovely South-East of the province of Bari, in the town of Turi, the company Tarall’oro was born in 1982. First as a producer of taralli (genuine and natural snack typical of the South of Italy), its mission has been from the beginning on to satisfy the best possible his customers. In a few years, the company has decided to offer to its clientele new products, keeping the quality of origin, and launching this way a new line of artisan pasta which is welcomed on the market. Pasta is produced using extra calibrated semolina obtained by extraction of the best durum wheat of the Murges area in Puglia. At the beginning, the production process was done thanks to traditional machines that only enabled to produce traditional pasta like orecchiette, cavatelli, fusilli, strascinate, capunti... In 2000, a new production line was born in order to enable the production of tagliolina and spaghetti of quality. Even if new technologies have been adopted during the years, production has always stuck with traditions in order to preserve the flavors of the past. The goals reached these last years all base on valid premises : the company intends to expand worldwide food known by customers as excellent from a gustative and qualitative point of view, and which contributes to a correct nutrition.

It all began almost a century ago! Haitoglou family had just arrived in Thessaloniki, Greece after leeing Asia Minor. The most important thing they brought with them was not their belongings: It was their love for family traditions and a secret family recipe for making the most popular sesame-based treat… Halva.
It was in 1924 that they opened a small shop dedicated to creating their delicious halva by hand in small batches, continuing the craft their fathers and grandfathers had taught them.
Throughout the years many things changed: the small shop became the center of attention for everyone that loved halva, as more and more people were drawn to this artisanal treat.
But some things remained the same: The passion to create the best products, the legacy embodied in the family’s secret recipe and, of course, the symbol of a female figure in a traditional Northern Greek costume.
The “woman from Thessaloniki” - or the “Halva Lady” as she became widely known - the proud, graceful figure with no name, started as a symbol to help people identify their favorite halva at a time when many couldn’t read. While the image evolved over time, it’s still the emblem of Haitoglou Family Foods, as it embodies our roots, heritage and tradition.
Building on our family’s values, we continue our mission with a passion to share our legacy, our unique craft and our favorite products with every family, as we have done for four generations.

Wilthagen Vleeswaren BV is ontstaan uit een slagerij in Krabbendijke, een dorp in Zeeland. Deze winkel, die zijn eigen vlees slachtte, produceerde regelmatig veel varkensspek als bijproduct. Het spek werd met de hand gesneden, gezouten en gefrituurd om Nibble Bacon te maken. Vanaf 1975 was er een toename van de vraag naar dit product vanuit andere slagerijen en supermarkten. Aanvankelijk werden deze klanten tot 1984 voorzien van onze Nibble Bacon. Daarna werd de slagerij verkocht en verhuisde het bedrijf naar Yerseke. In 1984 zijn we gestart met de verkoop via het groothandels- en retailkanaal. Hierdoor breidde ons bedrijf flink uit en werd de locatie Yerseke te klein en verouderd. In 1996 werd in Tholen een nieuwe bedrijfseenheid gebouwd. Dit bood ons de mogelijkheid om alle activiteiten die we tot dan toe uitvoerden te mechaniseren, wat resulteerde in een modern (BRC, GMP+ en EDI gecertificeerd) bedrijf. Wij richten ons op het koken, schroeien, frituren en grillen van spek en vleesproducten. Deze producten zijn klaar voor consumptie of kunnen worden gebruikt in maaltijden, pizza's, sauzen, salades, gesneden groenten en sandwiches.

NABA Feinkost GmbH is a leading manufacturer of processed organic foods in the convenience and delicatessen sector, based in Gierstädt, Thuringia. As a medium-sized company with its roots in agriculture and gastronomy, it is our aim to produce products that focus on the well-being of people and nature. This is why we became enthusiastic about organic products at an early stage. NABA was founded at the beginning of the 90s and a little later we produced the first organic spreads.
Today we employ more than 150 employees and produce many well-known (trade) brands for the organic specialist trade and food retail trade with modern production facilities on an area of 5000 m². For a long time, we were almost exclusively a producer of private label products, but we now have two own brands: Nabio and Reichenhof. Last but not least, we work together with small manufacturer brands and food start-ups to support entrepreneurship and anticipate innovations.
