In the lovely South-East of the province of Bari, in the town of Turi, the company Tarall’oro was born in 1982. First as a producer of taralli (genuine and natural snack typical of the South of Italy), its mission has been from the beginning on to satisfy the best possible his customers. In a few years, the company has decided to offer to its clientele new products, keeping the quality of origin, and launching this way a new line of artisan pasta which is welcomed on the market. Pasta is produced using extra calibrated semolina obtained by extraction of the best durum wheat of the Murges area in Puglia. At the beginning, the production process was done thanks to traditional machines that only enabled to produce traditional pasta like orecchiette, cavatelli, fusilli, strascinate, capunti... In 2000, a new production line was born in order to enable the production of tagliolina and spaghetti of quality. Even if new technologies have been adopted during the years, production has always stuck with traditions in order to preserve the flavors of the past. The goals reached these last years all base on valid premises : the company intends to expand worldwide food known by customers as excellent from a gustative and qualitative point of view, and which contributes to a correct nutrition.

The 'OLEIFICIO LLI Ruata SpA "DROP OF GOLD" operates in over three generations, producing the full range of vegetable oils. Extra virgin olive oil and olive oil, with selected organic products. . The production facilities are technologically advanced, and adopted a quality assurance system based on HACCP to ensure the whole process in terms of safety and hygiene. Our plant is located in Baldissero d'Alba (CN), with a production capacity of over 900 q.li / day in sizes from 0.250 liters to 5 liters of olive oils and in sizes from 1 liter to 25 liters per seed oils. The pride of Oleificio F.lli Ruata is quality control in all stages of production. In fact, in addition to performing the organoleptic analysis of all products in input and output, the oil mill F.lli Ruata has a modern analytical laboratory, equipped with three chromatographs HRGC, HPLC of a chromatograph, a UV-VIS spectrophotometer , of apparatus for the Rancimat test. The laboratory and quality control 'by persons having graduated, verification that all chemical and organoleptic parameters of batch production, to verify their correspondence to the strictest Italian and international. All our products comply with new EU regulations. Product reliability along with a prompt and efficient service are our essential requirements in order to meet today's market demands and needs of customers who require quality assurance.

Biolab was founded in 1991 from the project of Massimo Santinelli as a small factory of aliments. The project is to distribute 100% vegetal protein healthy food, coming from controlled and certified organic farming only. At the beginning the production was based only on soy beans in order to get high quality tofu, but then it was extended to wheat, kamut and spelt as well. With the co-operation of the biggest Italian wholesalers dealing in the organic food field, after a few years the distribution has been extended to most of the national territory and it’s reached hypermarkets and supermarkets as well, not only the specialized shops. As soon as the production was increasing, it was necessary to improve the production in order to guarantee the product and service quality. In 2003 the company moved to a new and wider factory (in the artisanal area of Gorizia) organized with appropriate machines for the production, storage and distribution. These years are based on results consolidation and experimentation of new ideas. What mainly characterize Biolab is the constant research of new aliment solutions that are suitable to new life styles, to whom doesn’t have enough time to cook but at the same time doesn’t want to renounce at the added value of a healthy and equilibrated alimentation. In 2007 the new range was introduced as preview by the BIOFACH Fair in Nuernberg, the bigger and most important fair in the organic field and it was an immediate success. The Italian quality and taste of Biolab tofu and seitan are recognized abroad as well. Nowadays Biolab is one of the major Italian companies in the organic food field strictly made of vegetal ingredients.

Established in 2008, Gelateria Callipo has as its ambitious main goal to make known the genuine artisanal Gelato production of Pizzo, not only throughout Italy, but worldwide. The old recipes of this craftsmanship have been revived and combined with modern techniques in order to obtain an industrial product with all the characteristics of our local artisanal tradition.
Following the company founder’s philosophy of “Quality first of all”, with passion and dedication, Callipo Gelateria has conquered important goals and achieved prestigious success in the ice cream business. With its 12 product lines and about 70 articles, all of which are guaranteed to be produced exclusively using the very best raw materials and the highest quality fresh milk from the best local dairy farm, sales have widely expanded to foreign markets.
Gelateria Callipo’s factory occupies an area of 3200 square meters, and is characterized by the availability of high productivity high tech equipment, which allows an annual production of approximately 1500 tons of ice cream mix. The plant, with its four process lines, is prepared to meet all market and distribution requirements. The factory has an internal testing laboratory, equipped with sophisticated equipment and expert technical staff, which constantly and continuously monitors the products.
